Here is Adam Lambert’s performance of “Whole Lotta Love” during Rock Week on American Idol. The judges really swooned over it; Kara called Adam a “rock God” and Simon thought it was one of his best performances yet. What did you think?

The problem with Adam isn’t that he is as queer as a three dollar bill–it is that he is as phony as a three dollar bill. He is all show, no soul. Any of the other three would be a better choice than the Vegas lounge act that is Adam Lambert. (He already has the haircut to star in his Liza Minelli Tribute drag show)

You know, I can respect you having your own opinion– just like we all do and are entitled to. When it comes to Adam Lambert, I realize that there are some people who simply prefer other types/styles/etc. of music and performers, but… a person who doesn’t recognize the level of talent Adam has, despite their preferences, is either deaf, dumb & blind or so bigoted & homophobic that they are rendered unable to comprehend anything past their own warped fixations. Does he really scare you that much?? You don’t need to trash talk Adam when you can’t even state an opinion is support of any of the other finalists!! Grow up.

I just love Adam’s voice. I think he’s great! I’m following him through trackle (http://www.trackle.com/catalog/details/name/Track-American-Idol/a/194004)

    Cheers,
    Jack

I think that Adam has such great potential. I hate to buy music of just one artist because all of it sounds the same. But with Adam he does it all. We would never be bored. I think that he is so all around talented that he can safely guard his career.

Right now he has more talent, showmanship and range than anyone ever on AI.

I am almost 60 years old and I think that he amazing!

No one can say that Adam belongs just on Broadway after that phenomonal performance last night. I felt like I was watching a Rock Concert last night when Allison and Adam did their duet. If they ever cut a record together they’ll be a smash hit.
I can’t believe the hate posted concerning Adam.
I agree with BlurrGirl when she said it’s phobic.
He’s unbeliably talented, his gender preference has no bearing on this and you need to quit focasing on it. You seem to have a problem with phobic behavior like BlurrGirl said. Move on and get over it!!!!!!!

Regarding claims that Adam is phony I say you haven’t done your research, pal. Before you make such blatant aspersions against someone you don’t know and probably just don’t like, then all you’re doing is projecting.

This young guy is the real deal. I’ve watched him closely over the past few months and seen him interacting with his mom, the judges, the public, etc, etc. He’s honest, sincere, has manners, and his singing talent is so massive and yet he is humble and appreciative of how far he’s come in the competition.

He’s paid his dues in musical theatre (for the past 17 years) and he is a seasoned professional. So I think rather than calling him phony, which is so completely absurd, you probably need to remind yourself that he is an entertainer, and what comes across to you as a Vegas Lounge act is simply him being the stellar performer and entertainer that he is. Perhaps you don’t watch his singing on Idol. When he is up on stage he is doing what any seasoned professional in the business would do. They’re workin’ it and giving an all-out entertaining performance. But when his song is over and he goes before the judges he reverts back to his normal, polite, and humble self.

Why are you so unnerved by this exceedingly talented and deserving singer???
