American Idol Teen Fan on This week on Idol
Okay, so this week on American Idol it is, “Songs of the Cinema”. This could actually be a really good week, because there are so many good songs in so many movies. Well, to be perfectly honest, I can not remember the last time I gave a darn about what song played in a movie, but I do know some. I have said before, “Oh this could be a REALLY good week for the contestants”, but as we all know, just when you think they are going to do absolutely wonderful, they fail horribly. Maybe the trick is to not have such high expectations of them, and then when they actually do good, you will be surprised. Yeah, that’s it! Ehem, anywho…
Quentin Tarantino is going to be the contestants mentor. Now I am confused… I know this dude has made allot of movies and such, but what does he have to do with the MUSIC world? Either the show is desperate for mentors, or they needed a change. Now,
this means I have to look at his scary face for an hour.
I was reading some articles about what people think the contestants should sing. Quite a few think Adam Lambert should sing “Jailhouse Rock”. Personally, I am not a huge Elvis fan, but YES he should totally sing that. I just hope he would not come out with that Elvis hair due that he has been trying to pull off. Although, I could see him singing something like that. It would probably be a little karaoke (like everything else on the show…lolz) – because he would impersonate Elvis to some extent and hardcore Elvis fans would HATE him for it.
I am assuming Allison Iraheta will do something from an 80’s horror movie. BTW – I have watched 80’s “Horror” movies and the graphics were so bad, it was almost comedic. Sorry to all you people the lived through the 80’s.
As for the others, I am not sure what to expect from them. I may not have a clue of what they might sing, but I can predict what their performance will be like…
Kris Allen – BORING.
Matt Giruard – Might do pretty good if he chooses a bluesy song.
Lil Round – She will copycat someone.
Anoop Dawg – BORING.
Danny – When I think of him, I think of the Movie “50 First Dates” and I have no idea why.
Oh-oh-oh, I was not going to mention this part, but MILEY CYRUS IS GOING TO PERFORM ON AMERICAN IDOL, RESUTS NIGHT! Oh yeah, I said it. Miley Cyrus will spread her talent less joy all round us people that watch Idol. She seems like a nice girl…really she does. Buuuuuut, I do not get her! She has multiple personalities (Hannah Montana being one of them) a 20 some-year-old boyfriend and a father that his biggest hit was, “Achy Breaky Heart”. EXCUSE ME?

Did you like seeing Miley’s dad on Jay Leno?
At least he didn’t sing the Acky Breaky song. I’m not sure but, I am thinking he is trying to make his come back on his daughters shirt tail. He also has learned to play the air guitar (super).
I just can’t wait to see Adam and Allison show up Miley. I know they both can sing better than her.
No way should Adam do a song like ‘Jailhouse Rock’ unless he is REALLY gonna revamp it! Elvis is dead and we should let it stop there.
Maybe Lil will try another Tina Turner song like ‘We Don’t Need Another Hero’. Let’s all hope she has learned her lesson!
There are so many great movie songs that there is no reason any of the contestants should pick a sappy song.
I have ear plugs handy just in case I need need them for the results night.

Lol, the people you think are boring are the ones I like.
Actually, at this point, they’re all kinda bland except for Adam. They should just give him the win already.

Yes, I did like seeing Billy Ray on Leno. I got to make fun of him. Those air guitar moves were pretty sweet. I can do that too. I SHOULD BE FAMOUS.
I was far more impressed with Adams choice, than what I had said. Lolz!
Allison is Miley’s age and ten million times more talented than her. She has to know that!

Ahh yes, but that makes is interesting that we like different people. Adam is god… Well, almost. Him and Allison should just both win now!

i’ve been really impressed with Kris for the last few episodes; he has become a real contender as of late
