There are rumors that Kris Allen might be going home tonight, but with performances by Kellie Pickler and Flo Rida (guess which state he’s from? huh huh), this should be an interesting show!
My initial thoughts: trying to predict what the group song will be tonight. Something 80s-ish, perhaps? Maybe Scott will rap, in honor of Flo Rida? What the heck is Randy wearing tonight? It looks like his beaded necklace multiplied and became an entire shirt. Paula is wearing a sleeveless shirt and long gloves…who is their stylist? Scott MacIntyre?
Frankie Avalon makes a guest appearance in honor of Simon’s upcoming 50th birthday. The Idols sing “Can’t Get You Outta My Head” by Kylie Minogue in honor of Idol’s birthday, 2002. Is that song that old? They sound not-so-good tonight; did they cut out the lip-syncing? As one of the Twitter fans put it, it’s “la la la la la la-lousy!”
Okay, getting into the results, and Adam, Kris, and Anoop are asked to stand. The judges praise Adam some more. Of course he is safe. Kris Allen, surprisingly, is also safe! DialIdol was wrong! Anoop isn’t so lucky.
Flo Rida performs, and it sounds better than Kanye!
Danny is safe, as is Matt Giraud. Scott is in the bottom three! Allison is safe, but Lil is in the bottom three. This is Lil’s first time at the bottom.
Next is Kellie Pickler, who kind of sounds like Minnie Mouse on helium!

Next, one person is sent back to safety. That person is Lil. Anoop and Scott are the bottom two.
Someone loves me! Scott is going home! Even though we have to hear him sing again. I’m pretty sure Anoop will go home next week, but at least I hopefully don’t have to hear Scott ever again. Unless the judges use their save. Ugh, please don’t! The judges are deadlocked, but they finally decide that he’s getting a no. Sweet guy, hot brother, but he had to go. Good episode tonight. Whoever decided to give Kellie Pickler a record deal must be deaf!

im glad that scott finally went home. i think that it was really his time to, consider how he did last night. he wasnt good at all i thought. i think he was beginning to get annoying…:(

I agree with Megi. Besides the fact he looks like the caddy in Caddyshack, his voice and bad jokes were almost embarrasing. He earned his Hollywood bid but completely out of his league at this point in the competetion.

Scott deserved to go home! Yep he has a great talent and has overcame so many obstacles, but he is clearly not a good singer. I am so glad Anoop is safe! Yay!

America got it right……. was worried about the sympathy vote for Scott but c’mon! it’s time he goes. He’s wonderful on the piano btw but got as far as he could (although thought he should have gone sooner) and his singing was beginning to sound monotonous.
Worried about Lil if she doesn’t step up. Vocal wise ofcourse she’s better than Anoop but she’s still choosing the wrong songs. The judges are getting frustrated with her and think the American public will too!
Unfortunately for this season, the only 2 interesting and unique contestants are Adam and Alison. Don’t know what all the hype is about Danny. His voice is good but nothing uniqe. Think Matt Giraud’s voice is more unique – especially when he gets it right like last night!
Would be very surprised if Adam doesn’t win it this year…. but then again, America did vote for Taylor Hicks to win!

Yes it was time for Scott to go home. ..He will tour with the group. ..I’m glad Anoop is safe, yay! I’m not ready for him to go yet.Nice voice & there is something very endearing about him…His parents can be very proud of their son!!!
My hope is Allison til the end along with Adam!
(Even though I have a soft spot for Anoop.) I know ;that & 2 dollars gets me on the bus!!!!

Coley got it right, Scott deserved to stay. Lil or Anoop should have gone home. The thing is people that at least Scott tried to mix it up and be “versatile”. Lil is a freakin karaoke champ who can belt out the big notes, but anything else is slightly off, and Anoop is a one trick pony – all he can sing are ballads that put you to sleep. So yeah, Anoop or Lil should have gone. I’m also sick of hearing you people say “Scott can’t sing”…you know what, they all can sing – and I’d bet money on it that they can all sing better then any of you.

I like Adam and Allison. I say Adam will win it all. Danny is ok, Anoop well he just is hanging on. He isn’t int he same league as Adam. Lil is a copycat wannabe. I think Anoop will go next, then Lil or Kris.

All I can say is Adam is the best contestant of American Idol History! The first time I heard him, I was like wow and each week I can’t wait to see what he sings. I think Paula was right on comparing his talents, to a Steven Tyler or Mick Jaggar. He is in a class of his own. I am really surprised how well Matt and Kris have performed. I was all in favor of Danny placing second and Allison third. Anoop, is so likeable , Lil does have talent, and Scott an inspiration but are not the Americans Idol. I think Anoop will be the next to go and then Lil .What a great season!

Oh wow… last night failed horribly. I honestly do not know what has gotten into me lately. This show is becoming weirder and weirder… or perhaps I’m just slow at figuring things out? LOLZ!
Flo Rida is one RIPPED dude. He scares me a little bit. But that song he did was remade (somewhat) and I had no idea about that. With all those strippers behind him, it didn’t seem FAMILY friendly… aye?
I thought the exact same thing about Kellie Pickler. She can NOT sing, good thing she’s cute!
I was glad to see Scott go home. I didn’t figure they would save him.
The judges are going to try and be sneaky and not use the save tell the last week they can and then say something like, “We don’t know if we want to use it”. Oh and then people are going to be like “But this is their last chance they have to use it. GAAASP”.

I think Matt should win….Scott was good but getting sympathy votes. But Adam or Allyson will win. Anoop needs to go back to India Americian Idol, and lil is a fantastic karokoe singer.
