It’s April Fool’s Day today, so does that mean we will get some shockers, surprises, and gags on tonight’s results show? Maybe instead of Lady Gaga, we’ll get Ryan Seacrest in a wig? While DialIdol has Megan Joy finally going home this week, it’s really anyone’s show compared to the cringe-worthy performances last night!
Tonight Jason Castro and Alexis Grace are sitting front and center in the audience. Are they dating? If so, my first thought is: whooooaaaaa. Duuuuude. Pass the bong. They probably came to hear Megan sing the Bob Marley song.
The group song tonight is “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey. Scott kind of sells them out that they’re lip-syncing, since he misses the microphone completely when it’s his turn for a solo. Overall though, they sound very good if it was a studio performance…so technically any of them could be viable recording artists with the right equipment!
After the first break and some Idol-on-Idol impersonations, it’s time to get straight into the results. Megan, Matt, and Kris are asked to stand together. Next, Adam, Lil, and Allison are asked to stand together. Lastly, Scott, Danny, and Anoop are asked to stand together. My guess is one out of each group is in the bottom three.
David Cook performs his new single “Come Back to Me” and is presented with his first platinum record. I’m not a fan of his music, but he seems like a nice guy!
Check out the results at the bottom of this post.
Lady Gaga is in the house to perform “Poker Face”. Sue me, but I love me some Gaga! As far as pop songs go, she can sing one as catchy as anyone! She comes out like a female David Bowie in space, and she is awesome!! Love that girl.
Safe: Kris Allen, Matt Giraud, Lil Rounds, Adam Lambert, Danny Gokey, Scott MacIntyre
Bottom Three: Megan Joy, Allison Iraheta, Anoop Desai
Bottom Two: Anoop and Megan
Voted Off: Megan Joy
So, DialIdol was right! I’m sorry, I will miss Megan so much! That girl rocks my socks. Scott is going to have to go soon! That said, I’m glad Anoop and Allison have another week of survival ahead! What are your thoughts?

Megan’s has picked the wrong songs every week.
It’s time for us to remove her so Adam can win. This guy pulls a rabbit out of his hat every week no matter what he sings.
He’s even better than Danny Gokey . . . and Danny’s good!

Scott is my favorite!! People love him, so I’m not sure what’s up with you all. But I think he’ll go a lot further. I also like Kris and Lil. Kris may win it all??!! Danny is fading, and Adam will be in the top 2 I predict.

Personally I am glad Megan is gone! She didn’t bring it and she’s a little on the cocky side. I know she is thinking it’s all for fun or whatever. BUT, we’ll see how that works for her in the music industry. Trying to get snarky and be disrespectful made people like her less and I don’t blame them. On the flip side, she is stunning and does have a unique style in her voice. She still has plenty of time to turn it around for the good.
