American Idol Fan Site | Who got voted off American Idol

Last night the judges picked 8 contestants to come back for another chance to make it into the top 12. Tonight, those 8 are going to perform, and hopefully there will be some great performances!  Stay tuned as we dish out the live play-by-play.

Jessie Langseth is first, and she sounds pretty good as she sings “Tell Me Something Good”.  Randy thought it was “just aiight” but Kara thought she has a definite swagger about her.

Next is Matt Giraud, singing “Who’s Loving You?”, which also doesn’t sound bad.  Veers off a little at the end to me.  Kara said it was a great vocal.  Simon thought it was a billion times better than last week.

Megan Corkrey is singing “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree”, and she sings okay, but she’s still doing that weird dance!  Paula said she look pretty and picked the right song, and Simon thinks she is quirky and terrific.

Screamy Von Smith is next. He’s singing “Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word”.  He can barely hit the note if he’s not screaming!  Still reminds me of a 4-year-old showing out. He was probably really cute when he was 3.  Simon said he was boring.

Jasmine Murray is singing “Reflection”.  Not terrible, not fantastic.  Kara said her big voice came outta nowhere, Paula thought she did a wonderful job.  Simon thought it was special, miles better than her last performance.

Ricky Braddy is singing “Superstition”.  It was…groovy!  He seems like such a nice guy.  Kinda Elliot Yamin-ish.  Kara thinks he can sing his butt off.  Simon thought it was clumsy, karaoke, and lightweight.

It’s finally Tatiana’s turn!!  She’s singing “Saving All My Love for You”. Isn’t that what she sang last time?  I’m sorry, but I kinda like her voice!  But, I thought they told her to bring back the crazy!  Simon said she has sang this song 3 times and I think that was the nail in her coffin.

Last but not least is Anoop “My Perogative”, and even though he sang that in Hollywood Week, I still love it.  Simon called him an enthusiastic dog!  Everyone else loved it. <3

Okay, decision time:  Jasmine is the first one in!  Ricky gets a no.  Megan gets a yes, Tatiana gets a no.  and on that one! Jessie and Von get nos.  Matt and Anoop are last.  Matt gets a yes.  But surprisingly, so does Anoop. There is now a Top 13!!!!!
