Idol David Archuleta signs record deal with 19 Recordings/ Jive Records
Both David’s from this seasons American Idol have record deals. Both David have deals with the same company. The winner of the deal is 19 Recordings/ Jive Records.
American Idol David Archuleta is currently rehearsing for the American Idols Live! Tour, that starts on July 1 2008. David A said in a statement that he is excited to release his major-label debut later this year. “Signing a record contract with 19 Recordings/ Jive Records is truly a dream come true,” he said. “Being a fan of ‘American Idol’ since season one and admiring the alumni, I am honored and humbled to be a part of that group. I’m really excited to start working on everything.”
Archuleta also said that he has “started to write some songs. I thought that was really fun to do … I’d like to get into that more. I think this experience on ‘American Idol,’ trying to figure out what songs work best with your voice and trying to arrange them, has really helped and I’d like to see if I can write some more stuff, because I’ve only written like three songs all the way.”
We can expect David Archuleta’s record out in time for Christmas 2008

Even though I wanted Archie to win. It is cool to see them both on top. I like Cookie too. I think they will both have successful careers.
