The Davids are next singing “Hero” by Chad Kroger. Next, The Guru, aka Mike Myers gives the Davids some advice.
Syesha Mercado sings “Waiting for You” with Seal.
Jason Castro is back to sing “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen.
The top girls sing hits by Donna Summers. Donna Summers joins in of course, as she has a new album coming out!
Carly Smithson and my boyfriend Michael Johns come together to sing “The Letter”.
Jimmy Kimmel comes out to tell jokes.
The top guys sing rock songs. They are joined by Bryan Adams.
David Cook and ZZ Top sing “Sharp Dressed Man”.
Graham Nash and Brooke White perform.
OMG THE JONAS BROTHERS!!!!!! (Insert 12-year-old girl screaming) I totally secretly love them.
And now, a look at the worst auditions of the season. Including my favorite, Renaldo Lapuz! Renaldo makes a special guest appearance complete with marching band.
One Republic sings “Apologize”. David Archuleta joins in and outsings them.
Jordin Sparks performs.
Gladys Knight performs with Ben Stiller, Jack Black, and hunky Robert Downey Jr.
Carrie Underwood performs.

Yeah it was good to see Cook win as he’s definitely more versatile than Archuleta. But then again we seem to forget that A is only 17 years old and obviously C is more mature. Commenting now on Simon though…… he definitely found out who won the A1 before going on air (Zaba search always has the results out way before the next show airs!) so it was no surprise to me when he changed his comments on who the winner should be. After the show he was giving A a knockout win…..but today, after realising he was wrong….. he had to confess that either one of them could win! Makes you wonder now about the judges comments doesn’t it?

Hip… Hip… Hooray! After Simon’s comments yesterday I stayed up till 1 am double-fist-voting… Land line phone in my left hand… Cell phone in the right hand!! Can you say redial? I figure that I voted at least 1,000 times… Probably lots more! I thought there was a limit… but it kept thanking me for voting for contestant 1… so I kept redialing! :-). whoo hoo for David Cook!!!

I am thrilled……I loved David Cook. He was by far the better performer and deserved to win American Idol. I am grinning from ear to ear right now!

The show was fixed. Simon gave David Cook a wink after his last performance the night before. ..as if to say “none of this matters dude, you’ve been hand picked”.

I am too shocked and upset.. i am not american but has been AI fan since season 2. I shall wear black today, together with the rest of Archey’s Angels all the world over.
