On the American Idol May 6, 2008 performance show, each Idol sang two songs from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame song collection. Jason Castro sang , “I Shot the Sheriff” by Bob Marley and “Mr. Tambourine Man” by Bob Dylan.

It is time for Jason to leave the American Idol stage after his two song selection last night. I believe he knows he cannot beat the remaining 3 contestants so chose those songs to set himself up to be voted off the show. Hey, making it to the top 4 is not an easy task. Congratulations to Jason for making it that far,,,
