American Idol Final 4 Theme Songs From Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame May 6, 2008
It’s been a long journey since January 15, 2008 Auditions of American Idol to reaching the Final 4 for American Idol Season 7.
Your Final Four of David Cook, David Archuleta, Jason Castro and Syesha Mercado will perform on May 6, 2008 at 8pm EST songs from the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.
On May 7, from 9 PM to 10 PM guest singers will include Maroon 5 and Bo Bice as well as one more contestant being voted off American Idol.
At this point in the Idol game, it’s a two horse race of the David’s. We expect to see the end of Jason Castro and Syesha Mercado in the next two eliminations on May 7, 2008 and May 14, 2008 to set up the David Archuleta vs David Cook Final on May 21, 2008.
But remember this is American Idol and expecting the shocking upseting twist moment is part of what Idol is all about. It’s the May Sweeps and each Year on American Idol a Favorite has been voted Off earlier than expected, note Chris Daughtry, Melinda Doolittle, etc.

Could we see and early exit of David Cook? A euthanasia of David Archuleta?
An Exit of David Cook would set up the David Archuleta Win. An Exit of David Archuleta would create an incredible buzz and mass suicide watch of the teenie bopper brigade. Hummm.
Tune in Live on 5-6-08 and 5-7-08 for the Live Results of American Idol.

Hello. I am writing to let you know of a campaign that is currently underway to help bring David Cook’s brother back to LA for the American Idol finale in a few weeks. Even if David isn’t one of the final two, he will still perform on the finale as one of the final 12. Thanks in great part to the generosity of a radio station in Adam’s home town, Adam and his wife were flown to Hollywood a few weeks ago to see David perform live on the stage.
I couldn’t help but be moved by Adam’s story. Through the web, I learned the effect the trip had on Adam; how he was able to rebound. I also learned of this campaign that was started by one of David Cook’s fans, Cathy Wood, to help Adam make a return trip during the finale. I sent a contribution but I wanted to do more. So now I’m writing to you. I’m hoping that you will mention the campaign and the website that has been established to get the word out. The web address is http://helpbringadamback.com
Time is short; the finale is just a few weeks away and we have a lot of money to raise. There are just a few of us now who are working this campaign. David has thousands of fans, but there is no one organized fangroup. I’m actually a member of another Idol’s fanclub (Elliott Yamin) and read about this on the web. We need a lot of national publicity in order to reach our goal.
Cathy Wood was interviewed by Toni Senecal of Fox NY on April 28th in support of this cause. You can see the interview at http://www.myfoxny.com/myfox/pages/InsideFox/Detail?contentId=6424555&version=5&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=TSTY&pageId=5.7.1. Kansas City Fox 4 (Kansas City is David Cook’s home area) has also printed the story on their website at http://www.myfoxkc.com/myfox/pages/Home/Detail;jsessionid=F03B5D0FEB059E52FD11C93036967DDE?contentId=6421692&version=1&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=TSTY&pageId=1.1.1&sflg=1.
I’m extremely grateful for coverage in New York City and Kansas City, but I realize national attention is needed if we are going to reach our goal of raising $80,000 in time to bring Adam back for the American Idol finale. If for any reason Adam Cook is unable to make the trip, all money raised will be donated to his medical bills fund. I do encourage people to donate to both funds at http://helpbringadamback.com, but the trip fund is particularly time-sensitive, and that’s where my focus lies today.
Thank you very much.
