American Idol Judges Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul Do The View
Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul were on “The View” today talking about American Idol, Randy Jackson’s Music Club Volume 1 album and Paula Abdul’s Dance Like Their Is No Tomorrow.
They discussed David Hernandez Stipper Controversy, and both said it didn’t matter. Idol is a Singing Contest nothing more.
Paula railed against Simon’s harsh judging style.
“Simon represents the ugliness and harsh reality of how hard it is to make it in the business,” she said, adding, “He would poop in his own pants if he had to face himself as a judge.”
Paula also debunked rumors that she’ll be heading out on tour with American Idol in support of her new single, “Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow.” “I don’t know how that rumor got started,” she said, adding that she is planning on touring soon on her own.
The View went on to discuss Randy Jackson’s new Album
“Randy Jackson’s Music Club, Vol. 1″ features such guest stars as fellow “Idol” judge Abdul, “Idol” vets Katherine McPhee and Elliot Yamin, blues-belter Joss Stone, country singer Travis Tritt, Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora and, most impressively, R&B/pop queen Mariah Carey.
About Paula Abdul’s Dance Like Their is No Tomorrow it plays to Paula’s real strength, dancing and choreography, which shines through in the music video, which also gets a boost from Randy Jackson. The single has been somewhat of a hit in the early going, selling well on iTunes and moving up the Billboard Hot 100. But the song’s greatest potential probably lies on the dance charts, where a strong remix could make it a club anthem.
