The gals are singing songs from the 1980s tonight. Stay tuned and keep refreshing the page as we will keep updating the highlights as they happen!

Overall, I thought the best of the night were Brooke White and Ramiele Malubay. No one really did badly, but it seemed there were a lot of average performances this week. Who do you think is next to go home?

Syesha Mercado8:55 p.m.: Syesha Mercado is last but not least. She sings “Saving all my Love for You” by Whitney Houston. Come on ladies, change it up a little! Whitney is so OVERdone! The judges thought it was “good,” if predictable. Very Whitney!

Brooke White8:50 p.m.: Brooke White is up seventh. She’s singing “Love is a Battlefield” by Pat Benatar. She did an interesting acoustic version of it. Paula thought she should have had more backup band, and Simon thought it was a brilliant take on it.

Ramiele Malubay8:40 p.m.: Ramiele Malubay is next. She sings “Against All Odds” by Phil Collins. I love this song! If you haven’t checked out the version by The Postal Service, you need to. Her version was pretty good, too. Randy said she has “mad vocals” Paula went off on some crazy tangent but said she deserves to be in the Top 12, and Simon thought it was pretty predictable.

Kristy Lee Cook8:30 p.m.: Kristy Lee Cook admits to used to pretending she was a dog. She sings “Faithfully” by Journey. Randy said it was cool, Paula said it could be a country music hit for her, and Simon thinks at best he can see her coming in 10th.

Carly Smithson

8:25 p.m.: Carly Smithson is up fourth. She sings “I Drove All Night” by Cyndi Lauper. Simon hated it, and the other two judges loved it. Simon said she was a million times better than that song.

Amanda Overmyer8:20 p.m.: Amanda Overmyer is third. She sings “I Hate Myself for Loving You” by Joan Jett. The judges thought it rocked, even Simon thought it was fantastic and she nailed it.

Kady Malloy

8:15 p.m.: Kady Malloy is next. She sings “Who Wants to Live Forever” by Queen. Paula thought it was her best performance, but Simon thought he was robotic and like one of the Stepford wives.

Asia'h Epperson8:00 p.m.: Asia’h Epperson is first. She sings “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” by Whitney Houston. Randy and Paula thought it was great, and Paula thought it was second-rate Whitney. However, he thinks she’s good enough to get into the Top 12.

I liked Brooke White, Amanda Overmyer and Carly Smithson.

Based on everything the two Blonds might be going home, Kristy Lee Cook and Kady Malloy, ( however I like both of them as well)

Good, I hate both of them! They’re so boring! I’m just not a big fan of the girls this time except for Brooke and Asia’h…the guys are more interesting! But, why does it seem like all the guys are gay and named David?
