Everyone has an opinion on the Britney Spears debacle, and American Idol’s Simon Cowell is no different.
“Everyone thinks it’s breakdown this and breakdown that,” Simon says. But he isn’t buying it. “From the kind of stunts she’s pulling now, I think she is the puppet master and completely in control.”
Though at first he thought that she was a victim of her own overexposure, he now believes that she’s masterminding her press coverage. “I really felt for her at one point, I thought she was heading for a meltdown and everything was out of control, but — especially over the past week — I thought she was honestly in control and, more to the point, wants to be in control.”
I applaud Simon for saying what everyone’s thinking, but if this really is true, she sure is doing a number on those poor children! Simon tells it like it is; he was recently also quoted saying he had no interest in seeing co-judge Paula Abdul perform at the Super Bowl!

Simon , Unfortuneley it seems as if she is untouchable by all of the people in the business ,however, I think she needs someone of your status and stature to help her . Their is noone in her life that is guiding her personally and professionally.
I wish I could take her bring her home and be a mother to her . She needs at least one woman in her life that is going to support her . So many of us want to mother her not smother her . If she really has bipolar disorder someone has to help her.
I am not into telling celebrities what to do and to be honest I usually care less but this is the saddest of all stories. I can’t take it I am in pain for her.
