American Idol Dallas Audition Preview 1-16-08
American Idol will show the Dallas Audition that was held on August 6, 2007. Judges
Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell will once again be inundated with wannabe’s, 15 minutes of fame whack jobs, and some actual real talent.
If the Idol producers are true to former season we will not be introduced to two of the contestants that have made it through to the Hollywood round and are potentially in the Top 24 or Top 12 for American Idol season 7. The two name to look out for, but we may never see from tonights show are Jason Castro and Michael Preston.
Jason Castro is a 20 year old from College Station Texas. All rumors and speculation have him breezing through the Hollywood round into the top finals for this season. Will we even get a glimpse of him this evening, or will the Idol producers continue their cat and mouse game of rarely showing us the top contenders until late in the season.
The other top AI finalist from the Dallas auditions is 20 year old Micheal Preston from Oklahoma City Oklahoma. Once again I doubt we will get to see him in tonights show. 
Instead of focusing on these very talented young gentlemen, we can expect to see some talented contestants that were cut in the Hollywood Golden Ticket Rounds as well as some of the zany, insane, no talent, and weirdness that has become synonymous with American Idol Auditions.
Golden Ticket winners from Texas that were Cut in the Hollywood Rounds Include:
Chase Foster, a 16 year old from Windfiel, Kansas.
Nina Shaw, a 24 year old from Burleson/Joshua, Texas that was cut in the 3rd round of Hollywood Week.
Ricco Barrino, Former American Idol Fantaisa’s Brother age 24 who was cut in the 3rd Round of Hollywood Auditions.
Antoria Gillon, age 20 who was cut early in the 1st Hollywood week,
Ashley Jackson and Brittney Davis from the Texas Audition that got cut in Hollywood Week.
Cody Belew age 22 from Littlerock, Arkansas
Frank Byers from Magnolia, Arkansas
Krista Branch from Tulsa, OK
Blaine Center age 18 from Corpus Christi, Texas
Courtney Ruffer age 18 from Lake Charles, Louisiana
Janessa Morgan age 20 from Des Moines, Iowa
Kayla Hatfield age 24 from Campbell, Texas
Laura Montoya age 24 from Santa Monica, California
Leslie Bass age 24 from Dallas, Texas who actually auditioned in 2 cities Dallas and Charleston
Michelle Ivy from Little Rock, Arkansas
Rachel Meeks age 18 from Hurst, Texas
Shanandolan Reynolds age 19 from Dallas, Texas
Stefanie Berecz from Dallas Texas
As you can see there is a lot of talented singers that received Golden Hollywood Tickets from the American Idol Dallas Auditions. Of these 21 names that made it to Hollywood how many and which ones will we actually see in the Fox Broadcast of the American Idol Dallas Auditions tonight 1-16-07?
