Ozzy Osbourne Snubs American Idol because of Sanjaya
Ozzy Osbourne was to appear on the American Idol Season 6 Final, that was until he found out he was suppossed to sing with Sanjaya Malakar.
Rocker Ozzy Osbourne pulled out of an appearance on American Idol because of a former contestant’s hairstyle, according to reports. The Black Sabbath singer was slated to duet with Sanjaya Malakar at last week’s season finale, but canceled at the last minute.
The singer was due to appear on the final episode of the series, but reportedly changed his mind when he found out his was scheduled to perform with contestant Sanjaya.
Pagesix has quoted Osbourne as saying that he “didn’t want to be on stage with [him]â€, branding the singer a “hairstyle-challenged idiotâ€.
In Ozzy’s place, Idol bosses drafted in Aerosmith’s Steve Perry to perform with Sanjaya.
