Melinda is out?
What the heck….??
3 Mitch // May 16, 2007 at 10:06 pm
Obviously, American Idol is not about talent, but about popularity. Melinda was the best of the 3….Jordin can’t hold a tune half the time and Blake sings off key half the time as well. I guess I won’t have to watch the Finale…I have better things to do!!!
4 Christina // May 16, 2007 at 10:14 pm
Sad day for American Idol. I will never think of Blake or Jordan as the real Idol.
5 Robert // May 16, 2007 at 10:19 pm
That’s just wrong, Melinda is the true American Idol of Season 6. In any case, when Melinda releases an album I’ll be in line to buy it. Can’t say I’ll buy Jordan or Blake’s, but we’ll see. I can’t say anything bad about Jordan or Blake, only that Melinda is the better singer. A very sad day indeed. I won’t watch future AI seasons.
6 Fran // May 16, 2007 at 10:24 pm
What a shocker! I really thought it would be between the 2 girls. Simon should have kept his opinion to himself. When he showed his partiality to Melinda on Tuesday he created a problem.
Personally, I really like Jordin and Blake but thought Blake was the one who would be leaving.
7 erika // May 16, 2007 at 10:29 pm
Well I see that this show is not about singing anymore…..she was the best of the 3 and so who cares who wins in 4 months they will be forgotten as so many others. I hope that she does what Clay did and beat the pants off whoever wins!! GO Melinda GO!!!
8 Danielle // May 16, 2007 at 10:29 pm
Yay for blake and jordin i love them both Melinda was good but she isnt the “american idol type” blake and jordin have way more fans and i hope blake wins it
i love blake!!!

Does anyone know what Simon’s final comment was regarding Melinda getting voted off? My Tivo cut off! I am so disappointed that Melinda won’t be in the finale. She was the BEST!
10 john // May 16, 2007 at 10:42 pm
Really,
the performanceson 5/15 were very mediocre at best. Melinda’s was no better than the other 2. she is a little short on personality/crowd-appeal and made sense she was done. I don’t think there is a standout this year, but then I was wrong about Taylor last season. It has been lackluster season and I expect reduced ratings next season as the public tires of the format.. the KY Derby is over in 2 minutes.Americans don’t want to wait 4 months to pick a winner.Get Paula that cute judge up ther singing “STRAIGHT-UP”and give the show a boost.GO Paula! I dig you baby!-yeah! put the judges on stage for a change.- let the contestants critique them….role play now

My recording cut off Simons reaction to the results!! Does anyone know what he said??
12 Jordan Barks // May 16, 2007 at 10:53 pm
Well, just goes to show… you can’t make all the 60 year olds vote for Melinda and hope to overcome all of the newer, younger American voters of what ’should be’ the up and coming, more cutting edge of our music generation. Thank goodness. And honestly speaking, Melinda was legit. I would’ve absolutely (and probably will) get my parents tickets to her Vegas show for their aniversary. But truth be it told, I will not purchase her next album, nor will the majority of the ‘target age group’ idiots (like myself), buy it or the next tour group ticket…but she still has talent. Nicely done Melinda, you are great. Good luck to Jordan and Blake. This has helped the lifeline of American Idol.
13 cathy // May 16, 2007 at 10:56 pm
Major shock!!!! Simon’s disppointed face spoke volumes. Melinda is the STAR. No need to watch the finale. Blake is good but is one dimensional; jordan has the makings of a real talent; she just needs more time. Mostly my disappointment is with the fans of American Idol who don’t recognize and vote for greatness.
14 MUSIC MAN // May 16, 2007 at 11:13 pm
WHAT HAPPENED TONIGHT IS WHAT YOU CALL A FLATTED NOTE! IN GUITAR MUSIC YOU HAVE MAJORS AND MINORS AND TONIGHT THE MAJOR WAS VOTED OFF LEAVING THE MINORS TO BE VOTED THE NEXT IDOL!
15 Michelle // May 16, 2007 at 11:21 pm
Every week I’ve have looked forward to the show, Melinda has been my pick. She has talent and soul! I am done with the show, obviously talent isn’t the ticket.
16 Heather // May 16, 2007 at 11:22 pm
Melinda…The best singer, yes. But not very charismatic or entertaining. I’m still shocked though. I thought even though I didn’t love her, everyone else did. Guess I’m going with the beat boxin’ masta. What the heck. He’s orginal. That’s a lot more than I can say for Jordan.
17 idol watcher // May 16, 2007 at 11:26 pm
I am shocked, because I thought she had the best singing voice of the final three. However, being an idol is more than just great singing. She really doesn’t have great show appeal (although a few others from the past would fit well in that category also.) It is a popularity contest, not a singing contest. I agree this year has been rather bland…
18 Patsy // May 16, 2007 at 11:35 pm
Melinda was absolutely cheated. She did not deserve to go tonight. Though neither charismatic nor appealing, she has the best vocals of the three and she should have made it to next week. I am disappointed with the American public because this year Idol has proven, or many Americans have proven, that it’s not talent that wins, it’s personality and appeal. I cannot stand Blake and hope Jordin captures the crown. But who knows? Anything goes in Idol anymore…….and certainly not talent.
19 Randy P Cowel // May 16, 2007 at 11:37 pm
American Idol is for loosers. The flintstones are way better. Wilmaaaaaa!
20 james // May 16, 2007 at 11:38 pm
America is stupid. A boy with a small voice, unnatural prescence and a strange singing technique should not have stayed over a power house, consistent and well deserving woman. Cool, Blake can beat box and be unique, whats new??? It’s funny though, because american idol doesnt matter anymore and we all know that Lakisha Jones and Melinda Doolittle will be very successfull and much more successful than blake… Jordin has got it though She will win and I do not think the difference in gender should be as big a factor as it is. He is the only guy left and thats the reason he hasn’t been voted off. I love Lakisha. and although she was voted off, everyone knows she had the best and biggest vocals of them all. She deserved it, and american idol is losing its touch. Go Lakisha!! This ain’t a love song
21 Valerie // May 16, 2007 at 11:39 pm
This is so unfair. Melinda is definitely the most talented and did not deserve to go. I have nothing against Blake & Jordin – but they are nowhere near the same league as Melinda. I thought this was a singing competition, not a personality contest. Oh well….at least Melinda can now release and make the kind of music she wants and won’t be tied to AI for however long the winner has to be committed to. I will definitely be buying her CD. And there is no reason to watch the finale next week – I have much better things to do than watch someone who doesn’t deserve to win American Idol.
22 VirgiinaGirl // May 16, 2007 at 11:43 pm
So, there we have it! The best of the three is sent packing. Melinda by far has the best voice and has been consistent in her performances throughout these grueling weeks. To think a beat boxer may win American Idol is scary, but I think that’s where we’re headed. Well, that’s where most of America is headed — to the finale. For me, I choose not to watch since, in the words of Simon, “my girl” is no longer in it, though she tried to win it!
23 betty // May 16, 2007 at 11:48 pm
I am really shocked. Like…no you diii-nt! Melinda was the BOMB! Blake is a smacked up, arrogant Seattle-ite and Jordan is like Molly Ringwald in 16 candles. Silly boy or the young, innocent girl? Neither are much to write home about.
Melinda will go on to great things…betcha!
24 Marie // May 16, 2007 at 11:51 pm
It’s a shame Melinda got voted off, but at the same time, she will have more freedom this way. She is still bound to be successful, and she won’t have to put up with all of American Idol’s contracts and agreements. As you can see, I’m trying to remain as positive as possible during this trajedy.
25 Jennifer // May 16, 2007 at 11:53 pm
I am so incredibly shocked, though ecstatic about the final two. I do agree that Melinda is a phenominal singer, but Blake and Jordan are young, inexperienced natural talents, completely opposite of Melinda, who has been on the road, on stage, etc. I could not be happier with these results, I wish Melinda the best, she’ll do great- Now I’m praying my boy, Blake, goes all the way- Go Blake!!!!
26 Aaron // May 16, 2007 at 11:53 pm
I’m still shocked that Melinda got voted off. Is the American public stupid?? I guess all these stupid little girls voted for Blake and Jordin.. Remember the whole Sanjai thing. Stop voting stupid little girls!

28 kyle // May 17, 2007 at 12:04 am
BLAKE IS off the hook! Yes Melinda is awesome and so is Jordin….but all they are is GREAT SINGERS…….The show is not called “AMERICAN SINGER” its American Idol and Blake is fresh and new. He will be successful because of his innovation to music. Nothing against the other two, because they are both powerhouse singers and will both be successful. American Idol is just the start for these artists. Really who cares who wins. Look at Chris Daughtry, he was 4th and doesnt give two craps about last year. He is making millions and so will Jordin and Melinda and my man BLAKE. I watch the show because of some of the great musical artists produced from it. I dont really care who wins. I care about 1 or 2 years from now and see where they are. You know? so all you whiney people who are upset that melinda is gone. Wipe those tears because her career is now on full throttle. Give her a round of applause and look forward to her album!!!!!
29 Alex // May 17, 2007 at 12:04 am
I am beyond shocked!
Melinda Doolittle voted off? Before the final? Amazing! Absolutely amazing!
I knew something was wrong when Ryan told Jordin she was safe. She shouldn’t have been. Melinda should.
Let me say, here and now, Melinda was absolutely the best singer on AI this year. By far. NO contest!
The final three should have been: 1) Melinda; 2) Lakeisha; and 3) Jordin. I have NO idea how Blake made the final four, let alone the final!
What IS this?
If this isn’t a singing competition (and it doesn’t seem to be, does it?), what IS it?
And why am I watching?
Between Jordin and Blake, if Jordin doesn’t win in a walk, AI is in serious trouble.
I’ll read who won, I won’t be watching, you can believe that!
30 Dawn // May 17, 2007 at 12:06 am
What a disappointment! The true winner went home.
31 Lester // May 17, 2007 at 12:12 am
Unbelievable! I thought it was a joke like the one they pulled on Jordan a while back. When I realized that it was for real, I was blown away. It just shows how incredibly inept the American public is at recognizing real talent. And for that reason the power to upset a contest like this should be taken out of their hands, at least to a certain extent. I mean, the amount of work, committment, and in Melinda’s case-raw talent, only to have America vote based on god knows what. Certainly not singing! I am not planning to watch the final and may not ever watch Idol again. It is an investment of time that I am no longer willing to make week after week for sheer idiocy. Here’s an idea, judge like they do on dancing with the stars. The public vote is combined with the judges score to decide who stays. At least then the people who know a thing or two about singing will have a say. I can imagine that this must be extremely difficult for them to watch, although I thought they handled their commentary with poise and professionalism.
32 sheila // May 17, 2007 at 12:13 am
What a joke!!! I wish Melinda the best…she was OBVIOUSLY the best of the 3. I know she will sell more records than Jordin and Blake.

What a way to announce it Seacrest…

alittle more personality. Good Luck to the last two!!

I am completely shocked!! Blake has been my favorite from the beginning auditions, but I am shocked about Melinda! She will go very far and I can’t wait to see the tour!
39 Navywife // May 17, 2007 at 1:13 am
First of all… Melinda, yes, she is an incredible artist. But doesn’t need the title of American Idol to keep her on contract. Her talents will take her so much farther where she can explore what SHE wants to do in her comfort zone. She’s going to be picked up so quickly that’s it’s a blessing that she got voted off.
Jordin and Blake need the training yet, and this is a better opportunity for them.
As for the rest of you, BOOOOOO to all the people that are saying America sucks. What right do you people have bashing us like that? It’s a reality show so relax. What country are you writing in from that you feel that you are superior to say that we SUCK because of some silly little contest. What is your problem??? Do not attack the American People… we are not the only ones voting. As a military spouse I’m highly offended.
40 mary // May 17, 2007 at 1:13 am
At first I was confused when Ryan said: “Melinda goes home,” but then I realized he was referring to the upcoming footage of her visit to her family and friends in Nashville, not to her going home for good. But it sure WAS prophetic.
I’m absolutely floored. When he said Jordin was safe I figured Blake was going home for sure. They need to do something next year or American Idol will go down the tubes. They need to factor in the judges’ votes as well as the fans, the way Dancing with the Stars does.
After watching every show of AI this season, I have lost interest and won’t bother to watch next week.
41 Marcus // May 17, 2007 at 1:15 am
Obviously the American public has lost its knowlege and annalysis of GOOD MUSIC…I am a highly trained professional musician and I know what it takes to perform (and especially) to sing. 15 years of experience has led me to believe that the Hip-Hop/Rap enforcers really don’t understand where the orgin of their music comes from. Rap and hip-hop began through blues, gospel, traditional, classical and REALLLL music. Now don’t get me wrong, I do love to listen to hip-hop and rap music but I believe that the impact of that type of music has squewd the perspective on true music and natural talent. Melinda Doolittle has natural talent. I will be the first to buy her CD when it comes out because I know that she has a bright and expansive musical career ahead of her. I am truly sad that this event had to take place but I do wish Jordin and Blake best of luck next week in the finals!
42 Breanna // May 17, 2007 at 1:18 am
I wish Jordin would have gone home. I would have loved to seen Melinda and Blake in the Finals. Now it’s between Blake and Jordin. All I have to say is…
Go, Blake! I’m a Blaker Girl myself. =]

I’m totally sad to hear about Melinda being voted off. Blake and sing any better than garbage. Made his Bon Jovi song unrecognizable. Beat boxing was out in the 90’s.
Jordin is as fake as they come. Oh well…. good bye finale. Not even a nice episode of House to follow up. What a wasted night.
Good job America….. once again going to show it’s all about good looks and popularity (not in any way saying Melinda isn’t good looking).
45 heather // May 17, 2007 at 2:02 am
Have we forgotten what a true Idol is? I thought an Idol is some who truely sets a good example In life. Melinda may not look like Beyonce but she is truley a person of great character and lots of moral and is so grateful for what has been set in place for her. Every week she had fabulous showmanship. She is mature at 28 years of age. I believe that if fame comes into her life she will not let that change who she is. She is grounded and knows who she is and what is important to her.
Jordan she is 17 she does not even know who she is yet. She can’t she is just 17 she is so immature yet. It came out on stage with her not sure if she was sincere smiles and giggles. But that is what 17 is all about. So that is fine. She has great career ahead of her. But at this point in time because of age and inexperience we cant admire her at least not yet. I think she got a lot of recognition because of who her dad is. Yes Jordan is beautiful and very marketable but that is not what a singing Idol is supposed to represent. Yes it is great if you have the Great looks but their is so much more to and idol than just looks.
Blake seems to know where he is headed in life and has a great future ahead of him. I hope he statys true to himself along the way.
In the end Melinda got robbed! I knew there wood be a huge upset though, their always is in every season. I dont even want to watch the finale because I feel the american idol was wrong voted off! I did vote at least 100 times for Malinda. On finale night I will vote for Blake because I dont think Jordan is ready nore mature enough for the title.
46 Beverly // May 17, 2007 at 2:11 am
Wow! It’s hard to believe! Malinda is a GREAT and talented singer! The 2 remaining are mediocre at best and sing well enough to perhaps be high school music teachers – NOT American Idols! What a shame for Malinda & the tone deaf people who did not vote for her!
47 Richard // May 17, 2007 at 2:54 am
I do feel that this was obviously an upset, as usually. I am so pissed that I am considering not watching the show anymore. This is sad, Melinda should have been in the final two period!
48 KJ // May 17, 2007 at 3:59 am
Calm down all. Remember what Paula said a few weeks ago was that Melinda has the voice but “that is only half of it”. That is why she got voted off. Look at the most popular former winners Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson both young and good looking. While it is obvious she has a great voice – she is NOT American Idol material. She doesn’t have IT ALL. Voice alone just isnt enough. The one who will ultimately win will be the one who is young, talented AND great to watch.
America did have it right. Melinda – a kind person, great voice and beautiful spirit but NOT an American Idol.
49 Dancingqueen // May 17, 2007 at 6:46 am
OMG!!! I CAN’T BELIEVE MELINDA GOT VOTED OFF! IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MELINDA AND JORDIN IN THE FINALE! BLAKE IS GOOD, BUT NOT GOOD ENOUGH! MELINDAS HEART MUST BE TORN INTO PIECES! EVERYONE OUT THER, BTHE ONLY REASON WHY PEOPLE ARE VOTING FOR BLAKE IS BECAUSE HE B-BOPS! THEY ASLO VOTE FOR HIM BECAUSE HE’S CUTE! IT’S ABOUT SINGING! JORDIN HAS THE BEST VOICE!

I have been watching American Idol from Nova Scotia, Canada, and I have been rooting for Melinda the whole time. Isn’t this show supposed to be about talent? I am so dissappointed in the American public. I wish us Canadians could have voted. Melinda is a star. Melinda was consistant every week. Melinda will do great things. Lakisha was also a star who had a great story about her life and she had that American Dream. . These women were genuine, soul full-filling women. Jordin is sweet but that won’t carry her. Blake is a showoff and……..just wierd. Sorry America but you guys made a big mistake. Much like you did when you voted Rubin Stoddard as American Idol. Where is he and what is he doing? I hope Randy or Simon help Melinda and Lakisha along with their careers. They deserve it. Thanks for listening. Love from a Bluenoser.

Stupid voters….How could they vote Melinda off??!?!?!?!?!? It’s just wrong…It is all because of looks….
54 Chris C. // May 17, 2007 at 8:57 am
ok fine, melinda may be the best singer of the three. However…
…SHE LACKS THE CHARM.
Whenever I watch her perform, I am impressed by her vocal ability. Unfortunately, her performances are bland and lackluster. Fine, she was consistent in her solid performances. This however, was a double-edge sword. She was TOO consistent, that her performances became a little too predictable. Frankly, in her last few performances, she bored me.
I really think that the last two contestants deserved their spot.
Jordin is a really a talented singer. With her age, she will still improve by a mile. She also has the charm and the look which can easily be packaged as a star. However, I still think that she is a bit immature musically. I still can’t define what Jordin is as an artist.
Which brings me to Blake. This man can really perform. Unlike Jordin, Blake is more musically mature. He already has developed a Blake sound. In the whole, he was the only contestant who wasn’t just a singer – he is also a musician. Whether he wins or not, he has already established what he s as a musician and a lot of recording companies would be lining up to sign him up. However, Blake isn’t a very good singer. He can carry a tune, but he is not that great of a singer.
Who will win Idol? My answer is Jordin. Why I think that the people who voted for Melinda will definitely vote for her. Sad, because I want Blake to win.
My judgment? I think that it’s just logical that Melinda was voted off even though she was the better singer.
55 Jo // May 17, 2007 at 9:00 am
This is what I predicted would happen after Phil and Chris were voted off several weeks ago. You could see the writing on the wall that AI wanted Lakisha and Melinda gone. They had the most talent but were too mature for AI. After Melinda sang Tuesday night I thought that there was no way that she could get voted off but yesterday I went over to the AI message boards and on Jordin’s board there were all kinds of posts saying “help – Jordin in trouble” and begging for votes. Some people claimed to have voted hundreds of times! They KNEW Melinda was the best and they got scared. After watching Jordin closely for the last few weeks she seems so cocky and fake and I for one hope that Blake (arrgh!) wins now. Not that Blake is a better singer but I would just love to have those cocky Jordin fans know how it feels to have their favorite lose!
But right now I could care less about who wins, I will not be watching for the first time in four years and after this season filled with disappointments I may just be done watching AI. There is always something to do like wash my car in the rain.
56 Susanrmatt // May 17, 2007 at 10:11 am
I hope no one watches the rest of IDOL this season.
Keep your eye on Melinda — she will not disappear. She is the most divesified and mature talent of the three. However— all the young audience voters are cellphone freaks and they have “the power” in their foolish little hands.

Can’t believe Melinda is out! We won’t bother wathching next week. Jordin is cute, but average and Blake is just creepy. America doesn’t recognize real talent when they see it. Melinda is the best I have seen in the 4 seasons I have been watching.
It was nice to see Elliot back…he was my pick last year. If he had looked then like he looks now, he would have been the winner.
61 Kathy // May 17, 2007 at 2:25 pm
Will not be watching next week and will not be watching Idol anymore at all. I think Idol needs to change it’s way of voting which would include votes from the judges. It would be a better way to get the “true” talent out front. Jordin seems phony and has trouble carrying some songs but she is young…….Blake is creative at times but nothing like Melinda or Lakisha. Maybe Simon shouldn’t have said that he wanted Melinda to be in the final two because who knows, maybe it tilted the votes to one of the other two……now to find something more interesting to with my time than to invest time watching Idol, the stupid show.
62 sarah // May 17, 2007 at 3:37 pm
i can’t believe melinda got voted off!!! this is so unfair. she is the one who had the best talent of the three. in my opinion, AI has gone down the tubes. i will not be watching the finale next week, theres no point in watching someone get AI who doesn’t deserve it.

This is a travesty and a black eye for American Idol. WE loved Melinda, and can’t believe she got booted off the show. One thing for sure, she’ll be the one you’ll be hearing about in the future because she is a PRO. Blake and Jordin were good but the true talent was Melinda.
64 Paul // May 17, 2007 at 5:32 pm
Well, I’m one of those 60 y/o that loved Melinda. She was the most consistant and talented singer of the group. The “boys” basically sucked. Jordan does deserve to be there in the finals but Melinda should have been the winner. I guess younger America just doesn’t know talent. Another reason why music sales are in a slump.
65 sara // May 17, 2007 at 5:42 pm
Well,
I had never really gotten into American Idol as I thought it had too much of a consumerist aspect, I don’t particularly like pop music, and it all seemed so shallow. I got into it this season, however, and was quite entertained at certain points. Last night’s voting off of Melinda has confirmed my intial reactions to AI has spread that belief to encompass much of the American public. (Not particularly surprising). I won’t be watching the finale.

BLAKES PERFORMANCE OF ” YOU GIVE LOVE A BAD NAME” WAS BY FAR THE BEST PERFORMANCE OF A CONTESTENT ON AMERICAN IDOL EVER!!!!! HE MAY NOT WIN NEXT WEEK! BUT HE WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED AS THE MOST CREATIVE CONTESTANT EVER!!! MELINDA IS AN AWESOME SINGER AND SO IS JORDIN, BUT BLAKE IS VERY CHARISMATIC AND IS A GREAT PERFORMER AND OUTGOING INDIVIDUAL! BEST OF LUCK TO THE TOP TEN AND THEIR FUTURE CAREER’S.
DONT HATE BECUASE MELINDA IS GONE
SOOOOOO WHAT!!!! SHE WILL DO GREAT IN HER CAREER! WHIPE THOSE DAMN TEARS AND QUIT HATING ON THE AMERICAN VOTING SYSTEM. ITS NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL.

Simons response:
To the bloggers whose TV cut out what Simon Cowell said. He said “My congratulations to Jordin and Blake, my commiserations to Melinda.” (Commiserations means sympathy)

HERE IN SURINAME (SOUTH-AMERICA) ALMOST THE WHOLE COUNTRY WAS WATCHING AMERICAN IDOL.. THE FACT THAT MELINDA WAS VOTED OFF WASN’T SUCH A BIG SURPRISE.THAT’S THE AMERICAN WAY! I SAW IT COMMING BECAUSE THROUGHOUT HISTORY I HAVE LEARNED TO UNDERSTAND THE WAY AMERICANS THINK.PERSONALLY I’M DONE WITH AMERICAN IDOL.
MELINDA YOU ARE THE BEST! I HOPE YOU SUCCEED IN EVERY WAY.
IT WON’T EVEN SURPRISE ME IF BLAKE(THE ONE WITH THE LEAST SINGING TALENT) WINS AI,BECAUSE THAT’S THE AMERICAN WAY!

Don’t base an opinion of America on a TV program. I take offense to people bashing our country ! We have freedom here which allows free choice without reprimand. Cheap Shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as I’m concerned, Melinda is the winner. In every way. She was even gracious in her exit interview. I know that her personality and talent are a gift and her faith in God will take her very far. I wish her all good things and want to thank her for entertaining me all season. I will definately purchase her CDs and cant wait to hear from her in the future. For once I agreed with Simon and am totally disappointed in lazy non-voters.As for all you people who say she doesnt have the LOOK, as you put it, she is a beautiful person and performer.

I have read all the comments… Lets be honest the winners of American IDOL is what the masses of american selects via voting… Malinda did not get the votes this timeand … that’s life! Get over it people… It does not take away from natural talent… as far as —Blake he is going to prove many of you guys wrong! He will be a numer 1 producer without doubt. Like him or not h has real untouched talent. as far as Jordan… baby girl has the ability and is truley a POP singer and she is good at what she sings… Lets be greatful for American Idol entertaining us week after week! Regardless what ever happen who is the winner or loser, each person we have seen, since season 1 will have to make a name for themsleves… SOME ARE DOING JUST THAT…. I love American IDOL
although my personal favorites has never one! I’m a fan of the SHOW! and admire those brave individuals who get on the Aamerican IDOL stage and perform!

way to go morons…you just killed AI with your stupid vote. this was one of my favorite shows, but i will not be watching the finale, and i am probably done with the series. my prediction is that this will be the lowest rated finale ever, and the beginning of the end of the show.

i stopped watching it to, it is oviously not about talent, its a popularity contest. sure blake or jordann may be more popular but they have nothing special that should be idiolized by americans. but whateve. im canadian!!!!!!! woa!

Every year, the pure gold singers get the boot. I don’t get it. I’ve been a Melinda fan from day one. You go, girl. I doesn’t matter. You made it to the top three. You will have your day in the limelight and I personally will be standing in line to get tickets to your concert!!!!!
