  I think that Sanjaya would do the competition a great service if he would just turn in the towel. I don’t know how it made it this far. This is absolutely a mess of a singing show, because Sanjaya can not sing. He has a cute smile and hair that a woman would die for, but, that’s all he has. Maybe Tyra Banks need to start a male version of Top Model for men. He could do a little modeling but he will never sell an album. All of the crazy little girls staying up past their bedtime and voting for this man that clearly has no talent is making a mockery of the show and what it is suppose to stand for. For as many comments that I have read about the waste of space that Sanjaya is taking, there are twice as many votes for him to stay on the show. I don’t get it, and that is why I don’t waste my time watching the results show.

  GEEZ can’t anybody see that Sanjaya needs to leave!! WHATS WRONG WITH THE WORLD. First we make a mistake and vote off Chris Daughtry and now were making the mistake and keeping Sanjaya on!

  I missed yesterday, but Harley is to pretty to kick off - O.K. I’m a sexist pig apparently, but she has to be better “OVERALL” than Sanjaya. Although, I did hear he sang well last night.

  I figured it would go down this way….SANGINA will stay way past his welcome this season, while the other better (but still medicore) contestants fall before him. If it wasn’t going to be Sanjaya, I would have guessed Haley the next to be sacrificed, which is what happened. There were predictions made by an AI producer that Sanjy will probably make it to the TOP 5 but will not win.

  It is fair that Haley has been voted off. She is such a pathetic singer. Sanjaya comparatively did good yesterday. So its Haley who deserves the honor.

  FINALLY! I was waiting for Haley to be kicked off for weeks, though it is disappointing that Sanjaya is here to stay…again.

  I swear, if Sanjaya makes it even into the top 4 of this contest, I will NEVER watch American Idol again! What a sham!!!!! He’s a cute kid but has no passion or emotion when he sings. And who told him to make goo-goo eyes at the camera. He looks like a girl!!!! And acts like one too. Let’s continue with the wonderful TALENT show that this has become so famous for….giving people with real talent a chance to make their dream come true. Sanjaya needs to mature another 10 years then maybe he will have learned how to communicate music!!!

  You people are all stupid, and in the very SMALL number of haters. You’re obsession with hating Sanjaya is comical in a sense. Sanjaya knocked it out of the park last night. If you hate the guy, because he is half East Indian, effeminate, popular, successful (which none of you miserable pissants will ever be)….THEN JUST SAY SO! Say it from the mountains “I am jealous of Sanjaya”.

  But most people who actually watched the show last night agree that Sanjaya gave the best performance last night, and is actually improving, while the others are stagnating. I know I’m using too many big words for you retards, but look past the hate for once and give Sanjaya some props for actually SINGING IN SPANISH ON LATINO NIGHT !!!

  Damn you people!

  Thank Goodness!!! I could care less about Sanjaya but I can’t take another week other that Trashy Haley!!!
  She can’t dance and she can barely sing!!!

  Kim, you continue to demean those who have a negative opinion of Sanjaya! You, by far, are the most intolerant of all who post.
  Sanjaya did sound better, as you said, but your defense of him gets lost in your rants, He HAD to get better because he could not get worse. All the other contestants WERE, by far, much better from the” get go”.
  Why do you find it necessary to bloviate and opine ?
  How insulting to call all who do not agree with you retards. Does this feed your ego? I find you extremely insucure when you feed your insecurities at the expense of others.You are doing damage to Sanjaya by posting hateful diatribes!

  I though Haley should have gone before Gina, but what the hell ever. I think that Haley is talented but i don’t like her voice so much for the show i think she should have gone to “your the one that i want” the search for Grease’s next leading women and man. I think her voice is for Broadway and I mean that in a good way i would actually much rather be on Broadway then be on American Idol, of course that is just me and if that is what she wants idol was a good way to become recognized. As far as Sanjaya goes…..I was rooting for him in the beginning, but he never rose to the occasion. I think when he auditioned he showed us he has a nice voice, but in this competition he’s not using it to WOW us and I think that’s what an American Idol singer should do each week of course it’s not easy but most of our contestants, I think, show there growth each week.

  I also would like to say I like Chris, but i think he is limited to his style. My main problem with him is i can only hear Justin Timberlake when he sings, and once again not trying to insult it’s just how i feel i think he has an amazing talent, but I don’t believe he’ll be on for too much longer.

  I wish this column provided more balanced journalism instead of just another weekly Sanjaya bash fest. With all the angst directed by this site at Sanjaya there is not enough credit or evaluation being given to the performances of the other contestants.

  Getting really tired of Phil Stacey, what bugs me about him is he claims to have hair yet likes the bald look so he shaves it off. This is fine, but if you like the bald look so much why do you wear so many goofy daniel powter hats. Lets face it youve lost your hair, admit it and go on. I personally think the Nosferatu call is great, his is the spitting image and will be voted off next week. He is great for a 4 man harmony troup but not for an idol. This season is terrible for the talent, by far the worst group ever and will mark the slide of idol.

  Blake Lewis is wonderful. I believe he’ll win American Idol. He is the next Elvis.

  Hallelujah! It’s Wednesday vote results and Sangaya is GONE! Thank God!
  Woooo Hoooo! Time to party! He was Idol’s biggest mistake ever.
  No doubt, this year was a very bad cast of contestants, but I think he’s the worst of all time.

  As for Haley, I’m glad to see her getting voted off last week, she acted way too slutty in her performances. She seemed to be trying to hard to win the male vote by going braless, bouncing her boobs, and showing off her legs too much. She had a halfway decent voice, nothing special. She sounded too much like Olivia Newton John. Her first few performances were pretty okay and conservative, but then she suddenly turned hormonal and lost her appeal.

  No doubt, Doolittle will be the next Idol. She needs to shed that little shy embarassed look she gets whenever she’s complimented.

  Thank God, Thank God, Thank God …… Sangaya is Good-bye-ah!!!

  The only reason I tuned in is to see what Sanjaya was going to do next.
  He’s got charm and spunk and has taken a lot of flak but stayed brave. I think he deserves an award!

  It’s sooooo sad to see the end of Sanjaya on American Idol.

  Yeah! Sangaya is gone! im so glad! he wasn’t a horrible singer but his voice is so quiet, and he just wasn’t at the level of the other singers.

  I really hope Phil doesn’t go next week, he may have really scary eye-balls but he genuinely has a really strong voice.

  I think the person to go next should be Chris. I know a ton of people probably disagree with me, but if you really listen to his voice it sounds like he’s singing from his nose.

  but all in all i really hope Jordin wins it all

  If Melinda wins i’ll be really upset, because every time she gets a compliment she acts all fake surprised and “like wow i can really sing!” and its like duh stop trying to be humble.
