LMFAO, This kid will be the next american idol. Or will at least sell more cds than any of the other contestants. With 6 months of voice training he’ll be able to control his voice better. He has an unique voice which is a plus. And girls 12 to 21 (who purchase more music than anyone) love him. Yes, AI is a singing contest, but putting it on TV and allowing america to vote makes it also a popularity contest. And you’ve got to admit, everyone wants a POPULAR idol.

There is no amount of training that will cure THAT voice !
I agree that he’ll be the next AI but you’re having disillussions about selling more CD’S than any of the others.

No, Sanjaya is not an idiot. It is those who are voting him in, the producers of the show and to a degree Paula, Randy and Simon who is at fault. Sanjaya, like most individuals his age are willing to just ride along for however long the ride lasts. He d*#@ well know that he is the worst of the bunch and CAN NOT carry a tune to save his life. If he ossessed a pair of coconuts, he would have removed himself by now. But we know that is not going to happen. The pathetic thing is that he may actually win. If that happens, America will be the idiots.
