American Idol offers Summer Camp for Kids
American Idol Hit T-V show annocued the opening of a summer camp.
The producers of “American Idol” plan to open the first Idol Camp this summer, in the western Massachusetts town of Northfield.
A press release says would-be campers between the ages of 12 and 15 should demonstrate a passion for the arts and desire to perform. But the four sessions in July and August are being described as “non-competitive.”
Unlike real American Idol contestants, campers will not have to pass a potentially embarrassing audition and, once there, no one will be voted off the camp.
The cost is 29-hundred dollars per camper for ten days, including room and board. The experience will include classes with professional artists, former “American Idol” contestants and others in the entertainment industry.
