American Idol Kelly Clarkson will be at Dayton 500 and Nascar spokesperson in TV ads.
NASCAR announced Friday that Kelly Clarkson, the Grammy-award-winning singer from American Idol, will perform on Feb. 18 at the Daytona 500.
Before the race, Clarkson will headline Nextel Tribute to America, which will be broadcast on Fox.
In addition to performing at the race, Clarkson will appear in NASCAR TV ads, perform at the sport’s annual awards banquet in New York City and serve as an ambassador for NASCAR Day, a charity event, on May 18
