 ”American Idol” Taylor Hicks will return to his hometown, Birmingham, Ala., on Tuesday to perform in concert with finalists from the popular FOX TV show.
The “Idol” tour will make its stop at Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex Arena.
Auditions: “American Idol” will conduct auditions in seven cities throughout the country this month for its sixth season. Birmingham will conduct auditions Aug. 21 at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex.
Other cities conducting auditions include Los Angeles, San Antonio, East Rutherford, N.Y., Memphis, Tenn., Minneapolis and Seattle.
Men and women ages 16 to 28 years old by Sunday, and eligible to work in the United States are welcome to audition. Restrictions apply, information and forms are available online.
