“American Idol” wants you.
Auditions for the sixth edition of the hit TV talent show begin August 8 at the Forum in Los Angeles. Tryouts will also be held over the following five weeks in San Antonio; East Rutherford, N.J.; Birmingham, Ala.; Memphis, Tenn.; Minneapolis and Seattle.
Contestants must be between 16 and 26 and eligible to work in the United States.
