Apparently The Enquirer is at it’s Ok Lies and Innuendo again, releasing a story about Taylor Hicks possibly being Gay.  Here is part of the story:

‘The ENQUIRER has learned that the silver-haired 29-year-old bachelor has been the target of nasty homosexual lies on the Internet and in his Alabama hometown.

And behind-the-scenes sources say the malicious gossip nearly kept Taylor from beating Katharine McPhee on the FOX-TV finale May 24 – when he was crowned the fifth “Idol” in front of 43 million viewers.

“Inside Hollywood’s Kodak Theatre, Taylor was freaking out that a ‘queer smear’ would rob him of victory,” an A.I. insider told The ENQUIRER.

“First, he blamed a fruity purple velvet jacket he wore. And he was told there were rumors about his sexuality all over the place.”‘

At least the Enquirer has the decency in their article about Taylor, to refers to the Internet buzz as “lies”.

Leave it to rag mags to be as sensational, outlandish, and spuing crap to sell their garbage.
