The fifth season of “American Idol” will wind down May 24, but the Tour begins.  All 10 of this year’s semi-finalists will spend the summer on the road, together, performing during the annual “American Idols Live” concert tour.
The tour will visit the BankAtlantic Center Aug. 5. Tickets, $72.50, $48.50 and $38.50 go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Appearing at the show will be Katharine McPhee, Taylor Hicks and Elliott Yamin — all of whom are still in the running for this year’s “Idol” crown — plus Chris Daughtry, Mandisa, Lisa Tucker, Paris Bennett, Ace Young and Kellie Pickler.
The tour begins July 6 in Manchester, N.H.
