Paula Abdul, the light-heated judge on Fox TV’s American idol still has a sense of humor. The former singer was cracking jokes about her injuries she apparently received after an alleged run-in with a man at a recent party.

She was a guest with Jay Leno earlier this week and Accress Hollywood gives this recap.

She told Jay Leno on the “Tonight Show” that she was shoved to the ground and knocked unconscious.
“I saw stars, which therefore means I didn’t see Simon Cowell anywhere,” the “Idol” judge added.
Abdul reported the confrontation last week to police and even told police the name of the person who was allegedly involved.

Access report that at last word – no one has been charged in connection with the incident.
She then went on to poke fun at host Ryan Seacrest and his alleged ‘Desperate Housewives’ relationship. Teri Hatcher could find a better catch than “American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest.

She suggested Seacrest is already smitten with someone — himself, saying “he only kisses the mirror.”
Abdul furthered knocked Seacrest by saying, “Honestly, do you think Teri Hatcher is that desperate of a housewife?”
It was a strange interview – to say the least.
