Denver & The Mile High Orchestra performed the Billy Joel song “Tell Her About It.” John Rzeznik said “That was really, really great.” Shelia E. said “You guys arrangements are so well done that the songs just flow and it makes it so joyful.” Dicko said “If you want to sell out arenas and have hit records, I think you are going to have to find something a little different, because it is a challenge recording-wise right now.”
Dot Dot Dot performed the Billy Joel song “Pressure.” John Rzeznik said “That was a really solid, great interpretation of that song.” Shelia E. said “I think you guys came back and really did something great.” Dicko said “That was a terrific performance tonight.”

Tres Bien performed the Billy Joel song “Movin’ Out.” John Rzeznik said “To me it lacked a little bit of urgency.” Shelia E. said “I really, really like you guys as a band.” Dicko said “I love you too, but I thought that was a bit sloppy.”
The Clark Brothers performed the Billy Joel song “She’s Got A Way.” John Rzeznik said “That was the most confident performance of any of these songs that I’ve heard tonight.” Shelia E. said “You guys are outstanding.” Dicko said “Just fantastic, absolutely fantastic.”
Light of Doom performed the Billy Song “The Stranger.” John Rzeznik said “That was the best performance that you guys have had.” Shelia E. said “I really, really love you guys.” Dicko said “A lot of the older singers can learn a lot from you, you give a 100% commitment.”
The two bands eliminated from the competition were The Muggs and Rocket. When host Dominic Bowden asked Dicko if the bands talking back to him last week had anything to do with their elimination, Dicko said “No, I don’t think it’s got anything to do with it. Unfortunately, the common factor there is death by lead singer.”
