  • 2 JASON A. // Oct 19, 2007 at 11:28 pm

the second band with the 60’s style/ sound…plus the METAL KIDS…AWESOME!AWESOME!!

  • 3 Mitch // Oct 19, 2007 at 11:44 pm

What are you guys thinking????? Johnny R, c’mon, you know better than that… these guys were sick. I watched for 2hrs and without question best band by far…. You greaciously pushed through the Zombies (KISS wantabies… JOKE) I would pay to see Northmont….

You guys need to do the right thing… BRING THEME BACK…. All you did was rip Base player… that is an easy thing… Let Robbie play with them.

If you don’t I am sure Mathcbox 20 will be recruit them to replace Rob Thomas.

Not sure I need to watch the rest of the show, seems ridiculous that you vote off best perfomance of the night…

LETS GO ALREADY…. If you looking for ratings I would re-evaluate!!!!1

  • 4 dale floyd // Oct 20, 2007 at 12:23 am

WOW! great show from the 12 year olds to Big Toe. I agreed with the judges with all accept Northmont, I think these guys are good. The host is great but he’s not AMERICAN what is that all about? I am hooked on the show now so dont screw up the showtimes and make me hunt for it. I was really suprised to see Leonard Nemoy in a wig and antenaes but you know, he sings good for an old alien. You have a great show keep it up, Im telling all my friends. One question though… why did you torture judges and bands by doing this show in 1000 degree heat? It added nothing to the show and may have hurt some of the performances. PS Sheila freakin ROCKS! GOO GOO boy is good and that auzzie Simon Cowell is OK.

  • 5 Davey Love // Oct 20, 2007 at 12:27 am

Saw the show. 10,000 times better than American Idol. This is real musicians playing real music. NOT RAP, NOT LIP SYNC, NOT HIP HOP POP CRAP. The 60’s style band was great, the little kids were OK, the 3 brothers kicked butt. This is great honest talent good or bad at least it’s real. Thank you for doing this show.

  • 6 Vanessa // Oct 20, 2007 at 12:33 am

I think SixWire is a great band, BUT They were signed with Warner brothers and have a pro cd out there. It’s really not fair to the rest of the bands to compete against a pro.

  • 7 Sharon // Oct 20, 2007 at 12:35 am

Turned on your show, it is great. I think that one bank with the great lead singer was awesome….what were the judges thinking? Sheila E is the only judge I know as a true “band” members who are the other two??

  • 8 jonathan meyer // Oct 20, 2007 at 12:45 am

I tell you one thing if I were up there playing for a spot I would certainly not want anybody coming up there and taking my sticks from me and proceed in disrupting the performance, that chick even had to pick up the sticks after Shiela E threw them up in the air. How tacky was that coming from a so called pro. If I were that chick I would have punched her right in the chops!

  • 9 Rick // Oct 20, 2007 at 12:45 am

Northmont was much better than some of the bands that moved on.
What were the judges thinking!! I think they need to be brought back

  • 10 dale floyd // Oct 20, 2007 at 12:47 am

    What

what????????????? you have never heard of the GooGoo Dolls?

  • 11 dale floyd // Oct 20, 2007 at 1:00 am

I agree with Rick and Jonathanm Northmont was better than some of the bands that moved on and my respect for Sheila E dropped to the floor when she sabotaged Mezcal. That was low class to do what she did.

  • 12 Sharon // Oct 20, 2007 at 1:17 am

Guess, I am too old for the Goo Goo Dolls! Shela E was out when I was “Disco Dancing” never the less… Northmont was WAYYYYYYYYY better than that All girl, slizzy band. Northmont was actually way better than most of the bands up there. I figured Sixwire and Northmont were two of the best! As for the Judge with the Goo Goo Dolls, he looks like David Casidy….remember him? (that is not a bad thing!) I must be a old person in a young persons body! Please do not get me wrong….I think the girls gave it a great shot,( I play drums) but there is no way there were better than Northmont! And….to set the record streight I have no connection to them at all, in fact I think they would have been better off not showing the fact that this was there last shot, it made the judges think they were in need of making it. I judge competitions and it seems the more someone wants it , the less they get it!

  • 13 Heather cameron // Oct 20, 2007 at 1:17 am

GREAT SHOW!!! AGREED WITH ALMOST ALL YOUR CHOICES JUDGES….HOWEVER…..I’M COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED THAT YOU DIDN’T LET NORTHMONT THROUGH. I AGREE THAT SOME OF THE MEMBERS NEED WORK, BUT I’M SURE THIS COMPETITION WOULD HAVE PUSHED THEM WHERE THEY NEEDED TO BE, AND THAT SECOND PERFORMANCE WAS MUCH BETTER THAN YOU GAVE THEM CREDIT FOR. I REALLY WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO WATCHING THEM PROGRESS.

  • 14 Sharon // Oct 20, 2007 at 1:19 am

I am so with Heather. Bring Northmnt back!

  • 15 Sharon // Oct 20, 2007 at 1:20 am

I am so with Heather. Bring Northmont back!

  • 16 Sharon // Oct 20, 2007 at 1:27 am

As for what Shelia E did, if she was going to step in, she should have pushed them into the next round! It is really hard as a drummer not to “want” to join the band, but, yes, this was a competition and they should have been given every opportunity without interuption.

  • 17 HEATHER // Oct 20, 2007 at 1:31 am

OKAY, YA GOTTA BRING NORTHMONT BACK. I JUST RE-WATCHED THAT LAST PERFORMANCE AND THEY’VE GOT WHAT THIS COMPETITION WAS DESIGNED TO GIVE TO AMERICA. IF YOU REALLY WANT THE TRUTH, BRING ‘EM BACK AND WATCH WHO AMERICA VOTES FOR!!!

  • 18 suzanne-sitka // Oct 20, 2007 at 1:36 am

What are you guys thinking? Northmont needs another chance, I was watching the show just so I could see them again!!! Please bring them back!!!!!

  • 19 Vegasvicki // Oct 20, 2007 at 1:46 am

Northmont was so awesome and WAAAAAY better than all the rest of those non talented bands. Are you kidding me?

    My god!

    I love you Northmont!!!

  • 20 Brandon // Oct 20, 2007 at 1:47 am

I agree. Northmont is the only band that should’ve been pushed thru. The rest of those bands were a joke.

  • 21 Raquel // Oct 20, 2007 at 1:51 am

    LIGHT OF DOOM! Amazing kids.
I’ve seen them play at House of Blues
    and they rock!
I’ve never seen a band at that age rock out a song of that type.

    UNEXPLAINABLE.
    friends are supporting you kids

  • 22 Sharon // Oct 20, 2007 at 1:54 am

So, what are you guys going to do? America loves Northmont. Brandon is totally correct, most of the other bands were a joke, althrough, Sixwire is a close 2nd! Come on, look at the comments. It is not even that they are good looking guys, for the most part they are not, they just sound GREAT!

  • 23 LEE // Oct 20, 2007 at 2:02 am

I DONT USUALLY LIKE METAL BUT…

    LIGHT OF DOOM!!!!
    LIGHT OF DOOM!!!!
    LIGHT OF DOOM!!!!
    LIGHT OF DOOM!!!!
    LIGHT OF DOOM!!!!
    LIGHT OF DOOM!!!!

  • 24 Raquel // Oct 20, 2007 at 2:04 am

    I agree with lee..

    LIGHT OF DOOM
    LIGHT OF DOOM!!!!!!!

  • 25 alex // Oct 20, 2007 at 2:15 am

who thinks that the light of doom is a joke?
for ages 12-13, they are damn good
no scratch that, by ANY standards, they’re good.
    age regardless.
they bring back classic rock in a way i have never expected it to be delivered. the song was awesome. i have never seen a group with such-not only talent-but a passion to play.

the best i have ever seen.

okay, i can honestly say, i didn’t like northmont
the sound was flat, and i agree with the judges, no dynamic whatsoever. the bass was too loud, and both of the songs sounded the same, of course without the “beatboxing”
they need to find a volume other than semi-loud.
i remember in my old symphony, the conductor hated it when we all played the same dynamic.
northmont should have really mixed it up a bit.

but i just can’t believe that people would say that light of doom is talentless. honestly.
they knocked everyone out of the water! totally original and talented.
i would give them a four thumbs up if it were possible!
    keep on keepin on!

  • 26 Sharon // Oct 20, 2007 at 2:26 am

I did not see anyone rip on the “Light of Doom” directly, yes they were great for their age, but age is not the issue. I will have to listen more to them. Do you play anything? Just wondering since you over hit on Northmont. You have to admit most of the other bands were wayyyyyyyy worse. Where was Northmont FLAT, the judges loved the Lead singer. Hummmm, I still think they should be in the top over several of the bands who made it.

  • 27 alex // Oct 20, 2007 at 2:40 am

yes, well, calling other bands talentless without regarding light of doom as non-talentless, is offending them.
i did say that age regardless, they’re good.
i play seven instruments, please don’t ask me to count them out to you. but, not only do i play, but i studied classical music, so i have been trained to know, not only WHAT sounds good, but WHY it sounds good. which is very important to making a good judgement about music. and in that training, i have learned to pick out the details that make something bad.
sorry, not FLAT, but more like flat SOUNDING. notes were fine
the sound was just nothing new or special.
sorry for not regarding the singer, he was good.
although, it sounded like he was trying to sound like the singer from nickelback. like not even his natural voice.
when i closed my eyes, it sounded like another nickelback song. nothing original or new to me.
yeah, alot of the bands were out there and terrible.
but, if they made it, i think that they would have been lower in the game

  • 28 Sharon // Oct 20, 2007 at 2:50 am

Maybe, maybe not….not all of America has your training. Heck look how far Nickelback has gotten and in the end of this show, I think, correct me if I am wrong, Anerica votes.

  • 29 sonia // Oct 20, 2007 at 4:36 am

now, i know y’all had some concepts you were trying to capture… i’m sure you laid out some map in pre-production for what genres you’d hope to have competing. i’m sure you can’t resist a banjo on an “americana” program, BUT as much as I personally love bluegrass - and listen to very little pop - I would have preferred to watch northmont’s development through the course of the series than that of an average stringband. you know their potential for good stories and television presence. after all, you made their story central to the show. why hook your audience and then cut them off so soon? a calculated risk to get your audience riled up? yeah, they could push boundaries more, but goo goo doll said it off the top: that #1 was sincerity, and these guys oozed it, that last performance had me in shivers for the depth of feeling. they clearly rose to the challenge and improved from one gig to the next. what makes you think they can’t get better still? if just one damned reality music show dared to mix up the gender balance of the judges, northmont would have been on its way to accolades from joe-blow america (it’s always the same formula: the simonesque a-hole, the beautiful cheerleader and the b-list swing vote guy).

always a pleasure to spy on US culture from a northern mountain.
~sonia, the gulf islands film & television school (GIFTS), british columbia, canada

ps- if i tune into this show again, it will be the first time i actually follow a reality show. i hope the producers and judges prove that they can push the envelope, challenge the aging formula and bring those guys back. it’ll make for great tv, for certain.

  • 30 ring james // Oct 20, 2007 at 4:48 am

NORTHMONT GOT SCREWED! BRING EM BACK! THIS SHOW SUCKS NOW AND SO DOES JOHN RZEZNIK AND THE GOO GOO DOLLS. HEAR THAT FOX? YOUR SHITTY JUDGES JUST PISSED OFF AMERICA!! BRING EM BACK AND LET US -AMERICANS- VOTE!

  • 31 Kim // Oct 20, 2007 at 8:23 am

I think you ALL need to chill about Northmont. The lead singer was okay, but they got so much air time compared to the absolutely phenomenol band, “The Likes of You” with front man Geoff Byrd. Wait until next week when you actually get to hear Geoff’s magical voice for more than 26 seconds and you will all realize that Northmont pales in comparison.

  • 32 Sarah // Oct 20, 2007 at 8:44 am

Hey, I thought that Light of Doom [[the 13 year olds]] where amazing! Sure, they’re really young, but I’m only 14 so yeah. These boys are amazing. I’d pay to see them anyday. Their talent is INCREDABLE for their age. Way better than anyone else I thought. It’d be amazing to see them make it all the way. I can’t believe that the first judge, whatever his name is didn’t want to put them through ’cause of their age. If you where worried about that, why’d you make it for any ages. That’s just lame.

Those boys are the best, BY FAR!!!

    GO, LIGHT OF DOOM!!!!

  • 33 Nashville // Oct 20, 2007 at 10:09 am

The Clark Brothers, hands down. I was totally blown away. Just wait till the competition really starts. Ashley the lead singer played fiddle and backup front vocalist for Carrie Underwood. There is also a movie being made about him. Incredible young men and a beautiful story of their life. Check out “sunday Dreamer” the movie on myspace.com.

  • 34 Shout // Oct 20, 2007 at 10:11 am

I watched last nights episode. It was painful. Can’t wait till next week. I think the clark brothers will probably win it.

  • 35 MUSIC IS MY NAME // Oct 20, 2007 at 10:14 am

Well, Well Well. Finally a show that will show real talent. Not that the winners of other RTS arn’t good. I liked 2 bands. One is just cute and will probably get a deal with disney. The other band The Clarks are my favorite. They are the real deal.

  • 36 D.A."Brady" Baylis // Oct 20, 2007 at 10:14 am

Though I live in Windsor,Ont.,Can.,across the border from De-
troit,Mich,U.S.A.,I’d like to know if I can audition for The Next
    Great American Band.I’m a 54-year-old heavy metal drummer/lyri-
cist/singer who’s looking for three or four 40ish or 50ish metal lords
who, like me,want to join their first band, and is there a chance I might find these boys either on the show or amongst the contes-
    tants?

  • 37 Texas Swing // Oct 20, 2007 at 10:14 am

    The Clark Brothers…..awesome.

  • 38 Texas Swing // Oct 20, 2007 at 10:17 am

Sixwire, you’re way to old. go home.

  • 39 TOM HAYDEN // Oct 20, 2007 at 10:31 am

The judges were terrible. First (and worst), Sheena E. gets up and takes over playing drums for one band, and then has the audacity to THROW THE DRUM STICKS IN THE AIR when she finishes, making the poor female drummer have to go and scramble for them (she only found one), ultimately unable to finish playing her own song. Then Sheena takes the rudeness one step further by voting “No” for the band…maybe they didn’t sound good because she messed them up with her incredibly rude behavior. What a jerk.

Then the guy from Goo Goo Dolls gives another band grief for playing a song that wasn’t “hard” enough. Now, the Goo Goo Dolls used to rock but they got famous with the cheesiest, lamest song ever. So he’s full of poo, too.

Finally, the non-American judge gives the Bluegrass band grief about their music…and he’s not even American. It’s an American style of music so maybe he should’ve just kept his mouth shut for that one time.

Anyway, it’s a great idea for a show but the judges were a joke (especially Sheena E. That was unbelievably rude. She should publicly apologize or give that band a second chance).

  • 40 Stephanie // Oct 20, 2007 at 10:52 am

    CLARK BROTHERS!!!

dang, such amazing skills… the mando player reminds me of Jeff Austin from Yonder Mountain String Band and Chris Thile of Nickel Creek. Just top notch.

  • 41 Don't Believe the Hype // Oct 20, 2007 at 11:31 am

The mando player from the Clark “BROTHERS”? He reminds me of the mandolin player from the Clark Family Experience who had a minor hit with “Meanwhile Back at the Ranch”… oh wait… that is them. Sixwire hit with “Look At Me Now”… What a load of CRAP!!! So any band who has had a previous record deal can become re-discovered and the American public will buy the concept, climb on board the train and watch a TV show that obviously intends to prey on the ignorance of the viewing public. I had my doubts when I saw the Clark Brothers (maybe they WERE a new group and the name was just a coincidence) but Sixwire cinched it. As soon as I saw them, I flipped over to WWE. At least I’m smart enough to know where to find the most entertaining B.S. The matches are rigged and so it the Next Great American Band. Do yourself a favor and don’t watch the show. Go out and support your local artists on a Friday night instead. There’s plenty of talent down the street if you know where to look.

  • 42 Lisa // Oct 20, 2007 at 12:04 pm

By far the best band was Denver & the Mile High Orchestra! That band was AMAZING!!!! They were extremely musical & very entertaining. Their sound was tight, they played & sang in tune, and were exciting to watch. Not one aspect of the band was weak; that’s TALENT!!! Denver & the Mile High Orchestra DEFINITELY has what it takes to win it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 43 Robin // Oct 20, 2007 at 12:28 pm

I agree with Jonathan. I was so pissed when Sheila E. went up on stage and stole the drummer’s solo. Was it that she thought the younger drummer might show her up? Did she just NEED to have some attention? The band was actually doing well until she walked up and threw them off. When you’ve been practicing with the same drummer, you can’t just throw in a new one and expect things to go smoothly. Sheila E. acted like a bully and assumed that the band would be “grateful” to play with her. She owes that drummer (actually that whole band) a HUGE apology! I’ve seen enough of her already…..

  • 44 Jon // Oct 20, 2007 at 12:51 pm

Northmont sucked. From the first chord they hit, it was completely out of tune and embarrassing. They should not have been able to come back for a second audition. It’s their fault that they weren’t prepared. If they do stay together, which I hope to goodness they don’t, they should change their name to Super Douche.
If anyone should be brought back it should be the latin band that Sheena E. intruded on. She should give a public apology and then allow them to play without interruption.
I was left with a lot of questions after watching the first episode though.
What happened to all the audition tapes? I was really looking forward to seeing several of those. If there were 6000 audition tapes, why did only 60 bands make it to Vegas? And then out of 60, why were only 12 picked? I was really expecting there to be a lot more diversity in the talent.
Also, did a lot of the bands get shot down the way they did? Or, were they able to play more than just one song?
My example is Ballroom Dancing. They only played a few seconds and then got shot down. However, when they went back on to the boat, people were telling them they thought they sounded great. I was very confused about that.
As far as bands that actually seemed promising, there is only one, Franklin Bridge. They just kept stringing me along and making me ache for more, then they hit it hard. It was a very good performance. All the others were boring and pretty much like anything else I’ve ever heard.

  • 45 Jon // Oct 20, 2007 at 12:59 pm

Woops. Just realized I called her Sheena instead of Sheila. Well, maybe it was subconcious.

  • 46 JAs!!! // Oct 20, 2007 at 5:24 pm

    LIGHT OF DOOM!!!!!!!!
By far one of the greatest bands in history
    haha welll close enough

regardless of their age their fricking great!
in a couple years theyll be even better
but i still think they have what it takes now!

    LIGHT OF DOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 47 jim // Oct 20, 2007 at 5:48 pm

    Great show,

Each band had atleast some hint of talent.

I dont know what the name of the band I liked was, but it was the only one that all three judges stood up and clapped for.

It was five black guys. The drummer blew me away!
The drummer was keeping the tempo and drive going and riffing along with the vocals at the same time.
His playing reminded me of Keith Moon.

    Totally unique

  • 48 Sue // Oct 20, 2007 at 5:54 pm

I like the second band Tres’Bien. Awsome sound. They could go far. I read one of the Clark Brothers plays with Carrie Underwood’s band and Sixwire was under contract with Warner Brothers. Those bands have both had their shot! It’s not quite fair for the other bands participating in the show. What gives?

    Good luck Tres’ Bien!!!

  • 49 KATIE // Oct 20, 2007 at 6:42 pm

uhh were you guys watching the show? first of all…NORTHMONT were the biggest babies ever on the show..and instead of being so serious they should of had a little more fun out there…that’s why they didnt make it. SECOND of all THE MUGGS were the best band there. They blew every other band away and no one even compared to them. DETROIT ROCK CITY BABY!!! GO MUGGS

  • 50 maxt // Oct 20, 2007 at 8:09 pm

Where is WATSON 66????? I saw a clip of them in a commercial during the Red Sox game and was so excited to see them. The bands you choose are very good, but Watson 66 is better. Guys, guys, guys, what happened?

  • 51 klm3024 // Oct 20, 2007 at 8:15 pm

Are they crazy? They let Northmont go?????? Yes they may have some improvements to be made but come on….. Anyone who did like them, have you been on their myspace? They had ALOT of comments and over 11,000 friends because they were well liked then and NOW……..I think you need to edit your damn show and have a secret bonus round based on your audience to bring back the one band that you didn’t pick. Make it 13 bands…… You will see……..
And I know I’m not alone in this…..
    Thanks

  • 52 kdude31 // Oct 20, 2007 at 9:10 pm

    LIGHT OF DOOM !
Awesome to see kids that know how to rock and appreciate the older style of metal !!

  • 53 Sharon // Oct 20, 2007 at 9:10 pm

Grat idea Klm3024, a scret bnus round! Northmonth deserves it and so does that Latin Band!

  • 54 sarah // Oct 20, 2007 at 9:30 pm

I know it has already been said a million times but just incase they haven’t gotten the message:

    BRING NORTHMONT BACK!!

I can’t stop rewinding them playing Long Day…as far as what I have seen they are not going to have a show that will last unless they start listening to what their fans are saying and more than 99% are saying bring Northmont back.

  • 55 brooke // Oct 21, 2007 at 12:56 am

Light of Doom has my heart

  • 56 Sharon // Oct 21, 2007 at 2:09 am

I am with you Sarah! Northmont needs to be back! But, with all the writing regarding Light of Doom, I have got to see them….I actually must have missed them prior to turning on the TV!

  • 57 Sharlene // Oct 21, 2007 at 3:31 am

I totally agree with Kim. I’ve been around musicians my whole life and I don’t see the big issue with Northmont. They had a great story but then again who doesn’t. I only seen a quick clip of “The Likes of You” but right away I was looking forward to hearing more of them. Throughout the whole show I pretty much agreed with the judges all the way. You just get that feeling when a band does it for you. As for the girl band, personally I think they are in it just because…and I know there’s no way they could kill the dreams of a group of pre-teens, which I respect, but keeping it real, it just ain’t right for THIS show. All respect to them and if it were my child I’d be proud as heck…

  • 58 REGGIE // Oct 21, 2007 at 8:13 am

At the beginning of the show, they said the next great American Band will consist of being able to play music and feature great song writing talents. Out of the top 12 people that made it, only a few played their own music. Most of them played cover songs. They said that they wanted bands that could write good songs. The bluegrass band was a joke. Fox, nobody listens to bluegrass that has a television. The only people that listen to bluegrass is people that live in the hills. THEY DON’T HAVE TELEVISIONS. They let the best band go by the name of Northmont. They need to bring them back. I think that they have a good chance of winning the whole thing. Let the viewers choose.

  • 59 Amy // Oct 21, 2007 at 6:30 pm

Unfortunately Johnny R.’s not showing why he’s a judge on there. Besides “i like your sound” and “awesome” can he do anything besides get bullied by the other 2?

Even worse, I can’t believe Lexicon wasn’t voted through. Those 4 seconds they got were enough to show their talent– if anyone’s seen Harold and Kumar go to White Castle, Lexicon did the the song that goes “you gotta rock to the rhythm…” I can’t believe they’re not signed yet!!

  • 60 KATIE // Oct 21, 2007 at 9:02 pm

GODDDDD…enough about that stupid band northmont…there just like every other band out there. and just like everyone else there home now watching. the only good thing about that band was the singer. tell him to go try out for american idol. GO MUGGS!!

  • 61 believe // Oct 22, 2007 at 5:09 am

The Clark Brothers are the babies from The Clark Family Experience. They have spent their whole lives in the background. This is their only shot to be in the spotlight. They have backed up other musicians including their own brothers, but these guys are the real deal and deserve a shot.

  • 62 believe // Oct 22, 2007 at 5:09 am

All I have to say is I can’t believe who many of you got wrapped up in the drama that was Northmont don’t get me wrong their lead singer was very talented and most of the band minus the bass player were on point as well, but because they got so much air time you have all missed the best band that was on the show. The Likes Of You are insanely talented and spot on with theirs whole performance but the fact that they litterally only got may 20 seconds of air time you have all missed them. I was actually multi-tasking while watching the show and until their lead singer started singing I hadn’t even lifted my head to see what was going on for a long while. All I have to say is The Likes Of You should win this competition they have the most talent and seem the most polished and together.

I love this show- lots of REAL talent. I think the judges were way too hard on Northmont. They sounded good to me. My fave band is Light of Doom. Those boys blew me away! I’m now an official fan club member! lol I hope they go very far in the competition. I also like The Clark Bros, The Muggs, & Dot Dot Dot. Franklin Bridge wasn’t as great as the judges said IMO. Rocket kinda s ucked, I hope they get better.

    Hey Lei Lei,
The lead singer for “The Likes of You” is Geoff Byrd. Not only does he have an absolutely magical voice (and it doesn’t hurt to look at him), he plays grand piano and is a great song writer as well. The man has a Master’s in Education.
I’m right there with ya, “The Likes of You” will not disappoint on Friday, when they hopefully get more air time than the lousy 26 seconds they were given last week! Geoff opened for Hall and Oates on their tour this past year. He sang on the number 3 hit “When It Snows” with Jim Brickman. Check out Geoff’s website to hear the fabulous “Silver Plated” and “Before Kings”. Kp

Okay, after watching the show last night, I gotta say- I was wrong about Franklin Bridge. They are great! I love their original song. Same goes for SixWire. I think those two are the ones to beat. My faves are still Light of Doom- love those boys! Now my faves are: Light of Doom, Clark Brothers, SixWire, Franklin Bridge, & DotDotDot.(I liked their version of the Dylan song & disagree w/ the judges)

As much as I liked The Muggs, I now hope that they (& Rocket) will be the ones going home tonight. The vocals are just not there.

Am I the only one who comes here anymore? lol
I think that the 8 remaining bands are all very solid in their style of music. I’ll be sad to see any of them go home now. My top 2 faves are Light of Doom & DotDotDot.
Light of Doom rocks!!! \m/ \m/

SHEILA E…. WHAT A JOKE!! HOW INCREDIBLY RUDE OF YOU TO STEAL MEZCAL’S THUNDER. I REFUSED TO WATCH THE SHOW AFTER HER RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCT. PRODUCERS OF THE SHOW OUGHT TO GIVE MEZCAL ANOTHER SHOT!!! SHEILA E, ACCEPT THE FACT THAT YOUR TIME IS OVER- WAS SHE INTIMADATED BY MEZCAL’S YOUNG FEMALE PERCUSSIONIST?? HMMM…I WONDER. BRING MEZCAL BACK AND GIVE THEM A FAIR SHOT!!!!

Except for Franklin Bridge, all of my faves are still here. I think it will come down to Clark Bros. & Sixwire in the end.
I wish more people were watching the show- it’s great!

I’m sooooo sad that LOD were voted off. (I cannot believe that Denver had more votes.) I know that LOD has a great future ahead of them. I will be supporting them throughout their career.
Sixwire or the Clarks are going to take the win. I’d be happy with either one winning. (just not the Dorchestra)
